Great to meet you and thanks for visiting my website!
Currently I live in Virginia Beach, Va with my husband Michael, and our dog Kiwi. I love living by the beach alongside the numerous nature parks and preserves that provided plenty of wildlife to draw!
I am originally from Charlottesville, Va where I found my love for art and the world around me. I grew up playing outside, running through the woods, canoeing, and looking for anything that swam or crawled nearby. It wasn't until my second year of college that I decided to fully submerge myself in the field of biology. My studies helped me gain a new understanding of livings things, and also another perspective of how I could use my art to help others.
As a young bartender, I became more conscious of the extent of wastefulness and how disconnected many are from a lifestyle more suitable to our connection with the world around us. I am a mixed bag with so many interest and versatile perspective. Art is how I seek further understanding of our reality and deeper parts of human experience. I aim to emphasize a different perspective of living things that inspire others to find their own appreciation. Creating art with a focus on education and artivism gives me pride in my work.
